The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to sacrifice two horned, white rams. He said, "I saw him slaughter them with his own hand, placing his foot on their necks, and he pronounced the name of Allah and said the takbir."
حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن قتادة وابن جعفر حدثنا شعبة قال سمعت قتادة
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يضحي بكبشين أقرنين أملحين قال قيل ورأيته يذبحهما بيده قال ورأيته واضعا قدمه على صفاحهما قال وسمى وكبر
