Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

When the Prophet ﷺ sent him with Surah Bara'ah, he said, "Prophet of Allah, I am neither eloquent nor a skilled speaker."The Prophet ﷺ replied, "There is no choice but that either I go with it or you go with it."He said, "If there is no other option, then I will go."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Go, for Allah will steady your tongue and guide your heart."Then he placed his hand on his mouth.

عن علي رضي الله عنه

أن النبي ﷺ حين بعثه ببراءة فقال يا نبي الله إني لست باللسن ولا بالخطيب قال ما بد أن أذهب بها أنا أو تذهب بها أنت قال فإن كان ولا بد فسأذهب أنا قال فانطلق فإن الله يثبت لسانك ويهدي قلبك قال ثم وضع يده على فمه
