I prayed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, Umar, and Uthman, and I did not hear any of them recite "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful."Hajjaj said that Shuba said that Qatada said, "I asked Anas bin Malik with what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to begin his recitation."He replied, "You are asking me about something no one has ever asked me about before."
