The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not practice continuous fasting."They said, "But you yourself fast continuously."He replied, "You are not like me in this. I spend the day," or he said, "I spend the night being fed and given drink."

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا تواصلوا قالوا إنك تواصل قال إنكم لستم في ذلك مثلي إني أظل أو قال أبيت أطعم وأسقى
