The Prophet ﷺ said, "The son of Adam grows old, yet two things in him remain young, greed and hope."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة قال سمعت قتادة يحدث
عن النبي ﷺ قال يهرم ابن آدم ويبقى منه اثنتان الحرص والأمل
Its isnad is sahih. It was mentioned previously in 12141.
