The people of Madinah were once gripped by panic. The Prophet ﷺ mounted a horse that appeared lean and unimpressive, then galloped off in pursuit of the source of the alarm. When he returned, he said, "We found him to be like a sea."
حدثنا عبد الرزاق حدثنا معمر عن ثابت
فزع أهل المدينة مرة فركب النبي ﷺ فرسا كأنه مقرف فركضه في آثارهم فلما رجع قال وجدناه بحرا
