Anas bin Malik reported,

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ launched a raid against a people, he would not attack at night but would wait until morning. If he heard the call to prayer, he would hold back from them, and if he did not hear it, he would raid them.

أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا غزا قوما لم يغز بنا ليلا حتى يصبح فإن سمع أذانا كف عنهم وإن لم يسمع أذانا أغار عليهم
