I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the circle when a man came and greeted the Prophet ﷺ and the people. The man said, "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah."The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, returned the greeting, "And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings."When the man sat down, he said, "Praise be to Allah, abundant, good, and blessed praise, as our Lord loves to be praised and as befits Him."The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "How did you say it?"The man repeated what he had said.The Prophet ﷺ said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, ten angels rushed to record it, each eager to be the one to write it down. They did not know how to write it until they raised it up to the Lord of Might, who said, 'Write it down as my servant said it.'"
حدثنا حسين حدثنا خلف عن حفص بن عمر
كنت مع رسول الله ﷺ جالسا في الحلقة إذ جاء رجل فسلم على النبي ﷺ والقوم فقال الرجل السلام عليكم ورحمة الله فرد النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام عليه وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته فلما جلس الرجل قال الحمد لله حمدا كثيرا طيبا مباركا فيه كما يحب ربنا أن يحمد وينبغي له فقال له النبي ﷺ كيف قلت فرد عليه كما قال فقال النبي ﷺ والذي نفسي بيده لقد ابتدرها عشرة أملاك كلهم حريص على أن يكتبها فما دروا كيف يكتبوها حتى يرفعوها إلى ذي العزة فقال اكتبوها كما قال عبدي
