The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No soul that dies and has goodness with Allah would wish to return to this world, except for the martyr. The martyr would wish to return to this world to be killed again, because of the excellence of martyrdom that he sees."
حدثنا حسن حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن ثابت البناني
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ما من نفس تموت لها عند الله خير فيسرها أن ترجع إلى الدنيا إلا الشهيد فإن الشهيد يسره أن يرجع إلى الدنيا فيقتل لما يرى من فضل الشهادة
