I was walking with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who was wearing a Najrani cloak with a coarse border, when an Arabi caught up with him and yanked it so violently that I saw the side of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ neck marked by the cloak's border from the force of the pull.He said, "Muhammad, give me some of the wealth of Allah that you have."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ turned to him, laughed, and ordered that he be given a gift.
حدثنا إسحاق بن سليمان قال سمعت مالك بن أنس عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة
كنت أمشي مع رسول الله ﷺ وعليه برد نجراني غليظ الحاشية فأدركه أعرابي فجبذه جبذة حتى رأيت صفح أو صفحة عنق رسول الله ﷺ قد أثرت بها حاشية البرد من شدة جبذته فقال يا محمد أعطني من مال الله الذي عندك فالتفت إليه فضحك ثم أمر له بعطاء
Its chain of transmission is sahih. The hadith is found in Bukhari 10/275, no. 5809, in Fath al-Bari, chapter on clothing, striped cloth, ink-dyed garments, and the shamlah, and in Muslim 2/730, no. 1057, in the book of zakat, giving to one who asks rudely.
