The Prophet ﷺ said, "This is the son of Adam, and here is his appointed term, and there lies his hope." And Affan extended his hand.
حدثنا حماد بن سلمة أخبرنا عبيد الله بن أبي بكر
أن النبي ﷺ قال هذا ابن آدم وهاهنا أجله وثم أمله وقدم عفان يده
Its isnad is sahih. Ubaydullah bin Abu Bakr is the son of Anas, and he is his grandson. The hadith was mentioned previously at 11910.
