The Prophet ﷺ mentioned Uhud and said, "It is a mountain that loves us and we love it."
حدثنا حماد بن مسعدة عن قرة بن خالد عن قتادة
أن النبي ﷺ ذكر أحدا فقال جبل يحبنا ونحبه
Its isnad is sahih. Hammad bin Masada is Basri, the hafiz, and Qurra bin Khalid Sadusi is trustworthy and firmly reliable. The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 7/377 no. 4083, in the Book of Military Expeditions, Fath al-Bari, "Uhud is our right hand and its trust," and Muslim 2/993 no. 1365, in the Book of Hajj, "The Virtue of Madinah," and Ibn Majah 2/1040 no. 3115, similarly.
