The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On what the sky waters, a tenth is due, and on what is watered by buckets or irrigation wheels, half a tenth is due."Abu Abdul-Rahman said, I related to my father the hadith of Uthman from Jareer, but he rejected it. My father would not narrate to us from Muhammad bin Salim because he considered him weak and rejected his hadith.
حدثنا عبد الله حدثني عثمان بن أبي شيبة حدثنا جرير عن محمد بن سالم عن أبي إسحاق عن عاصم بن ضمرة
قال رسول الله ﷺ فيما سقت السماء ففيه العشر وما سقي بالغرب والدالية ففيه نصف العشر قال أبو عبد الرحمن فحدثت أبي بحديث عثمان عن جرير فأنكره وكان أبي لا يحدثنا عن محمد بن سالم لضعفه عنده وإنكاره لحديثه
