When the verse of the veil was revealed, I came to enter as I used to enter, but the Prophet ﷺ said, "Stay back, my son."
حدثنا أبو كامل مظفر بن مدرك حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن سلم العلوي قال سمعت
لما نزلت آية الحجاب جئت أدخل كما كنت أدخل فقال النبي ﷺ وراءك يا بني
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It is found in Muslim, 2/615, no. 898, in the Book of Prayer for Rain, on the supplication in prayer for rain, and in Abu Dawud, 4/327, no. 5100, in the Book of Manners, on what has been said about rain, and in Ibn Abu Asim in Sunnah, 1/276, no. 622.
