The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Muaz bin Jabal, "Know that whoever dies bearing witness that there is no god but Allah will enter Paradise."
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة قال سمعت أبا حمزة جارنا يحدث
قال رسول الله ﷺ لمعاذ بن جبل اعلم أنه من مات يشهد أن لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنة
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Hamza, the neighbor of Shuba, is Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah Mazini, who is reliable, and his hadith appears in Muslim.The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 1/226 no. 128 in Fath al-Bari, in the Book of Knowledge, chapter on singling out some people rather than others, and Muslim 1/58 no. 48 in the Book of Faith, chapter on the proof that whoever dies upon monotheism enters Paradise, and Abu Dawud 3/190 no. 3116 in the Book of Funerals, chapter on prompting, and Tayalisi in his Musnad no. 40 in the chapter on the gift, and Abu Naeem in Hilyah 7/173.
