Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari narrated the hadith, 3/171 no. 1302, in the Book of Funerals, chapter on patience at the first shock, and Muslim, 2/637 no. 626, with similar wording, and Ibn Majah, 1/509 no. 1596, with similar wording, and Nasai, 1/22 no. 1869.
