We entered upon Anas bin Malik while he was praying in a single garment wrapped around himself, with his cloak set aside.I said to him, "Are you praying in a single garment?"He replied, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray like this."
حدثنا أبو عامر حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي الموالي
دخلنا على أنس بن مالك وهو يصلي في ثوب واحد ملتحفا ورداؤه موضوع قال فقلت له تصلي في ثوب واحد قال إني رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يصلي هكذا
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Amir is Aqdi, Abdul-Malik bin Amr, and he is trustworthy. Musa bin Ibrahim bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Abu Rabia is acceptable, and he and his father have nothing harmful in them. Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Mawali is trustworthy.
