Anas bin Malik reported,

The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "When a servant is placed in his grave and his companions turn away from him, and he can still hear the sound of their footsteps, two angels come to him and seat him upright. They ask him, 'What did you used to say about this man, Muhammad ﷺ?'As for the believer, he replies, 'I bear witness that he is the servant of Allah and His Messenger.' He is then told, 'Look at your place in the Hellfire, Allah has replaced it with a place in Paradise.'"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "He sees them both."Rawh said in his version of the hadith that Qatada said, "It was mentioned to us that his grave is expanded for him by seventy cubits and filled with greenery until the Day they are resurrected."Then he returned to the hadith of Anas bin Malik, who said, "As for the disbeliever and the hypocrite, he is asked, 'What did you used to say about this man?' He replies, 'I do not know, I used to say what the people said.' He is told, 'You did not know and you did not follow those who knew.' Then he is struck with an iron hammer between his ears, and he lets out a scream that everything near him hears except humans and jinn."Some of them said, "His grave is constricted upon him until his ribs interlock."

حدثنا روح بن عبادة حدثنا سعيد عن قتادة عن أنس بن مالك ويونس حدثنا شيبان حدثنا قتادة

حدثنا أنس بن مالك

أن نبي الله ﷺ قال إن العبد إذا وضع في قبره وتولى عنه أصحابه حتى إنه ليسمع قرع نعالهم أتاه ملكان فيقعدانه فيقولان له ما كنت تقول في هذا الرجل لمحمد ﷺ فأما المؤمن فيقول أشهد أنه عبد الله ورسوله فيقال انظر إلى مقعدك من النار فقد أبدلك الله به مقعدا في الجنة قال رسول الله ﷺ فيراهما جميعا قال روح في حديثه قال قتادة فذكر لنا أنه يفسح له في قبره سبعون ذراعا ويملأ عليه خضرا إلى يوم يبعثون ثم رجع إلى حديث أنس بن مالك قال وأما الكافر والمنافق فيقال له ما كنت تقول في هذا الرجل فيقول لا أدري كنت أقول ما يقول الناس فيقال له لا دريت ولا تليت ثم يضرب بمطراق من حديد ضربة بين أذنيه فيصيح صيحة فيسمعها من يليه غير الثقلين وقال بعضهم يضيق عليه قبره حتى تختلف أضلاعه
