Umm Sulaym sent him to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with a tray of fresh dates. He began taking handfuls and sending them to one of his wives, then taking another handful and sending it to another of his wives. Then he sat down and ate what remained, eating in the manner of a man who clearly relished it.
