The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Strive against the polytheists with your wealth, your lives, and your tongues."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا حماد عن حميد
قال رسول الله ﷺ جاهدوا المشركين بأموالكم وأنفسكم وألسنتكم
Its isnad is sahih. It is found in Abu Dawud 3/10, no. 2504, in the chapter on jihad, on the reprehensibility of abandoning military expeditions, and in Nasai 6/7, no. 3096, in the chapter on jihad, on the obligation of jihad, and in Darimi 2/280, no. 2431, with similar wording, and in Hakim 2/81, who graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
