The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was playing with the other boys when someone came to him, took hold of him, and split open his chest. He drew out a clot of blood from it, threw it away, and said, "This is Satan's portion of you." Then he washed him in a basin of gold with water from Zamzam, and afterwards mended him.The boys ran back to his wet-nurse crying, "Muhammad has been killed! Muhammad has been killed!" She rushed out to meet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and found that his color had turned pale.Anas said, "I used to see the mark of the stitching on his chest."
حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا حماد عن ثابت
أن رسول الله ﷺ كان يلعب مع الصبيان فأتاه آت فأخذه فشق صدره فاستخرج منه علقة فرمى بها وقال هذه نصيب الشيطان منك ثم غسله في طشت من ذهب من ماء زمزم ثم لأمه فأقبل الصبيان إلى ظئره قتل محمد قتل محمد فاستقبلت رسول الله ﷺ وقد انتقع لونه قال أنس فلقد كنا نرى أثر المخيط في صدره
