Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped at a place to rest, he would not depart until he had prayed Dhuhr.Muhammad bin Umar said to Anas, "Abu Hamza, even if it was at midday?"Anas replied, "Even if it was at midday."
Its isnad is sahih. Hamza Dabbi is Ibn Amr Aidhi, acceptable, and a group of scholars affirmed his reliability. The hadith was reported by Abu Dawud 2/4 no. 1205 in the book of prayer, chapter on the traveler praying while in doubt, and Nasai 1/248 no. 498 in the book of prayer times, chapter on hastening Dhuhr.
