Its isnad is sahih. Muhammad bin Abbad bin Zubarqan Al-Makki, Ahmad said, "His hadith is the hadith of truthful people, and I hope there is no harm in him." Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators, the two sheikhs (Bukhari and Muslim) narrated from him, and Bukhari gave him an entry in Al-Kabir 1/1/175 without mentioning any criticism of him.Abdullah bin Muaz bin Nashit, with the noon vowelled with fatha, Al-Sanani, trustworthy. Abdul-Razzaq used to call him a liar, but Ibn Main affirmed his trustworthiness, and Abu Zura said, "I say he is more trustworthy than Abdul-Razzaq."Mamar is Ibn Rashid Al-Azdi Al-Haddani, and he is trustworthy, reliable, and well known. In manuscript H it appears as "Yamar," which is an error we have corrected from manuscripts K and H."Mitah" (a corpse) replaces it in manuscript H with "mubayyanah" (clarified), so we have established what is in manuscripts K and H, and in Majma al-Zawaid. The hadith appears there at 8:152-153, where it says, "Abdullah bin Ahmad, Bazzar, and Tabarani in Al-Awsat narrated it, and the men of Bazzar's narration are the men of the sahih, except for Asim bin Damra, who is trustworthy." There it has "Hamza" in place of "Damra," which is a printing error.
