He said, "When we were with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey, if we said the sun had passed its zenith, or even if it had not yet passed, he would pray Zuhr and then set off."
حدثنا أبو معاوية حدثنا مسحاج الضبي قال سمعت
قال كنا إذا كنا مع النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام في سفر فقلنا زالت الشمس أو لم تزل صلى الظهر ثم ارتحل
Its isnad is sahih. Mashaj is Ibn Musa Dabbi Kufi, accepted by them, and the hadith is found in Abu Dawud 2/4, no. 1204.
