The last time I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was on a Monday. He drew back the curtain while the people were praying behind Abu Bakr. I looked at his face, and it was like a page of the Mushaf. The people were about to move, but he gestured to them to remain in place, then the curtain fell back. He passed away later that same day ﷺ.

آخر نظرة نظرتها إلى رسول الله ﷺ يوم الاثنين كشف الستارة والناس خلف أبي بكر فنظرت إلى وجهه كأنه ورقة مصحف فأراد الناس أن يتحركوا فأشار إليهم أن اثبتوا ويلقى السجف وتوفي في آخر ذلك اليوم ﷺ
