Anas bin Malik reported,

When the Muslims were routed on the day of Hunayn, Umm Sulaym called out, "Messenger of Allah, kill those who fled from us, for they have been defeated."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Umm Sulaym, Allah has already sufficed."Then Abu Talha came to her, and she had a pickaxe with her. He asked, "What is this, Umm Sulaym?"She answered, "If any of the polytheists comes near me, I will rip him open with it."Abu Talha said, "Messenger of Allah, listen to what Umm Sulaym is saying."

حدثنا ابن أبي عدي عن حميد

عن أنس قال

لما انهزم المسلمون يوم حنين نادت أم سليم يا رسول الله اقتل من بعدنا انهزموا فقال رسول الله ﷺ يا أم سليم إن الله عز وجل قد كفى قال فأتاها أبو طلحة ومعها معول فقال ما هذا يا أم سليم قالت إن دنا مني أحد من المشركين بعجته قال فقال أبو طلحة يا رسول الله انظر ما تقول أم سليم
