The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a ring made and said, "We have had a ring made and engraved an inscription upon it, so let no one else engrave the same inscription on theirs."

اصطنع رسول الله ﷺ خاتما فقال إنا قد اصطنعنا خاتما ونقشنا فيه نقشا فلا ينقش أحد عليه
Its isnad is sahih, and the hadith was narrated by Bukhari 10/324 no. 5874 Fath, in Clothing, the ring on the little finger, and Muslim 3/1659 no. 2088, in Clothing, the Prophet'sﷺ wearing of a ring. And Abu Dawud 4/88 no. 4214, on the Ring, what has been said about wearing a ring, and Tirmidhi 4/229 no. 1747 similarly, and Nasai 8/173 no. 5196, and Ibn Majah 2/1201 no. 3640.
