The Prophet of Allah ﷺ forbade men from applying saffron perfume to themselves.

Its isnad is sahih. Ismail bin Ibrahim is Ibn Muqsim, known as Ibn Ulaya, who appears frequently. The hadith was narrated by Bukhari 10/304 no. 5846 (Fath al-Bari), in the chapter on clothing, on the prohibition of using saffron, and by Muslim 3/1662 no. 2101 similarly, and by Abu Dawud 4/80 no. 4179, in the chapter on grooming, on khaluq for men, and by Tirmidhi 5/121 no. 2815, who said, hasan sahih. Sahih.
