Abu Wadi reported,

We were heading toward Kufa with Ali bin Abu Talib when he mentioned the hadith of the Mukhdaj.Ali said, "By Allah, I have not lied, nor have I been lied to," repeating it three times.Then Ali said, "My beloved friend informed me that they are three brothers from among the jinn. This one is the eldest, the second has a great following, and the third has weakness in him."
