Abu Taybah performed cupping on the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he gave him a sa of food and spoke to his masters, who reduced what they required from him.
حدثنا معتمر عن حميد
حجم أبو طيبة رسول الله ﷺ فأعطاه صاعا من طعام وكلم أهله فخففوا عنه
Its isnad is sahih, and the hadith was narrated by Bukhari 4/324 no. 2102 (Fath al-Bari), Muslim 3/1204 no. 1577, and Abu Dawud 3/266 no. 3424, all in the Book of Sales, in the section on what has been said about the wages or earnings of the cupper. Also Tirmidhi 3/567 no. 1278, who said, hasan sahih. And Ibn Majah 2/732 no. 2164.
