The Prophet ﷺ prayed in a striped Yemeni cloak. I think he tied its two ends together.

Its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it with this wording (4/51, no. 4060) in the book of clothing, in the chapter on wearing hibarah, and similarly by other imams.
