The Prophet ﷺ said, "Charity is not lawful for a wealthy person except in three cases: one striving in the path of Allah, a traveler, or a man who has a neighbor to whom charity was given, and the neighbor then presented it as a gift to him."
حدثنا وكيع حدثنا ابن أبي ليلى عن عطية العوفي
قال النبي ﷺ لا تحل الصدقة لغني إلا ثلاثة في سبيل الله أو ابن السبيل أو رجل كان له جار فتصدق عليه فأهدى له
