Marwan delivered the sermon before the prayer, and a man said to him, "The prayer comes before the sermon."Marwan replied, "That practice has been abandoned, so-and-so."Abu Saeed then said, "As for this man, he has fulfilled his duty. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, 'Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand. If he is unable, then with his tongue. If he is unable, then with his heart, and that is the weakest of faith.'"
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن قيس بن مسلم
أن مروان خطب قبل الصلاة فقال له رجل الصلاة قبل الخطبة فقال له مروان ترك ذاك يا أبا فلان فقال أبو سعيد أما هذا فقد قضى ما عليه قال لنا رسول الله ﷺ من رأى منكم منكرا فلينكره بيده فإن لم يستطع فبلسانه فإن لم يستطع فبقلبه وذاك أضعف الإيمان
