The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let none of you belittle himself. When he sees a matter concerning Allah about which he ought to speak out, and he fails to speak, he will meet Allah having neglected that duty. Allah will ask him, 'What prevented you from speaking?' He will reply, 'I feared people.' Allah will say, 'I had more right to be feared.'"
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن عمرو بن مرة عن أبي البختري عن رجل
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يحقرن أحدكم نفسه إذا رأى أمر الله عليه فيه مقالا فلا يقول به فيلقى الله وقد أضاع ذلك فيقول ما منعك فيقول خشيت الناس فيقول أنا كنت أحق أن تخشى
