It was reported to me by someone who met the delegation from Abdul-Qays that came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, among whom was al-Ashajj. They said, "Messenger of Allah, we are a tribe from Rabia, and between us and you are the disbelievers of Mudar."He then mentioned the like of Yahya's hadith, but he did not mention, "You have two qualities."

وحدثني من لقي الوفد الذين قدموا على رسول الله ﷺ من عبد القيس فيهم الأشج قالوا يا رسول الله إنا حي من ربيعة وبيننا وبينك كفار مضر فذكر مثل حديث يحيى ولم يذكر أن فيك خلتين
