Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Paradise and Hell argued with one another. Hell said, 'My Lord, the tyrants, kings, the great, and the noble enter me.' Paradise said, 'My Lord, only the poor, the weak, and the destitute enter me.'So said to Hell, 'You are My punishment, with you I strike whom I will.' And He said to Paradise, 'You are My mercy, you encompass all things. Each of you shall have its fill.'As for Hell, its people will be cast into it, and it will keep saying, 'Are there any more?' [Qaf 50:30] until comes to it and places His foot upon it. Then it will shrink together and say, 'Enough, enough!'As for Paradise, it will remain as Allah wills it to remain. Then Allah will create for it new creatures as He wills."Hasan al-Ashyab said, "As for Paradise, it will remain as Allah wills it to remain."

عن أبي سعيد الخدري

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال افتخرت الجنة والنار فقالت النار أي رب يدخلني الجبابرة والملوك والعظماء والأشراف وقالت الجنة أي رب يدخلني الفقراء والضعفاء والمساكين فقال تبارك وتعالى للنار أنت عذابي أصيب بك من أشاء وقال للجنة أنت رحمتي وسعت كل شيء ولكل واحدة منكما ملؤها فأما النار فيلقى فيها أهلها وتقول {هل من مزيد} حتى يأتيها تبارك وتعالى فيضع قدمه عليها فتزوى وتقول قدني قدني وأما الجنة فتبقى ما شاء الله أن تبقى ثم ينشئ الله لها خلقا بما يشاء وقال حسن الأشيب وأما الجنة فتبقى ما شاء الله أن تبقى
