The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was bidding farewell to a man and asked him, "Where are you headed?"The man replied, "I intend to go to Bayt al-Maqdis."The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "A single prayer in this masjid is better," meaning better than a thousand prayers anywhere else, except Masjid al-Haram.
قال وودع رسول الله ﷺ رجلا فقال له أين تريد قال أريد بيت المقدس فقال له النبي ﷺ لصلاة في هذا المسجد أفضل يعني من ألف صلاة في غيره إلا المسجد الحرام
