Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Prophet ﷺ said that Iblis declared, "My Lord, I will continue to lead the children of Adam astray as long as their souls remain in their bodies."The Lord replied, "And I will continue to forgive them as long as they seek My forgiveness."

عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال قال إبليس أي رب لا أزال أغوي بني آدم ما دامت أرواحهم في أجسادهم قال فقال الرب عز وجل لا أزال أغفر لهم ما استغفروني
