A man emigrated from Yemen to join the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "You have abandoned shirk, but what remains is jihad. Are both your parents in Yemen?"The man replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Did they give you permission?"He answered, "No."So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Go back to your parents and ask their permission. If they grant it, then fine, and if not, then remain devoted to them."
وبهذا الإسناد قال هاجر رجل إلى رسول الله ﷺ من اليمن فقال له رسول الله ﷺ هجرت الشرك ولكنه الجهاد هل باليمن أبواك قال نعم قال أذنا لك قال لا فقال له رسول الله ﷺ ارجع إلى أبويك فاستأذنهما فإن فعلا وإلا فبرهما
