An Arabi came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I own camels and I wish to make hijrah. What do you command me to do?"The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you lend some of them out for others to benefit from?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "And do you pay the zakat on them?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "And do you milk them on the day they come to water and share the milk with the needy?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ then said, "Go and do your work even beyond the seas, for Allah will not let any of your deeds go to waste. The matter of hijrah is a difficult one."
حدثنا محمد بن مصعب قال ثنا الأوزاعي عن الزهري عن عطاء بن يزيد الليثي
أن أعرابيا أتى النبي ﷺ فقال يا رسول الله إن لي إبلا وإني أريد الهجرة فما تأمرني قال هل تمنح منها قال نعم قال وتؤدي زكاتها قال نعم قال وتحلبها يوم وردها قال نعم فقال انطلق واعمل وراء البحار فإن الله لن يترك من عملك شيئا وإن شأن الهجرة شديد
