The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I have left among you that which, if you hold fast to it, you will never go astray after me. Two weighty things, one of them greater than the other. The Book of Allah, a rope extended from the heavens to the earth, and my family, the people of my household. Indeed, the two will never part until they meet me at the Pond."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا عبد الملك بن أبي سليمان عن عطية العوفي
قال رسول الله ﷺ إني قد تركت فيكم ما إن أخذتم به لن تضلوا بعدي الثقلين أحدهما أكبر من الآخر كتاب الله حبل ممدود من السماء إلى الأرض وعترتي أهل بيتي ألا وإنهما لن يفترقا حتى يردا علي الحوض
