A robe of silk was gifted to the Prophet ﷺ, and he gave it to me to wear. Ali said, "I went out wearing it, and the Prophet ﷺ said, 'I do not approve for you what I dislike for myself.'"He then instructed me to divide it among my women as head coverings, sharing it between Fatimah and his Amtah.

Its isnad is sahih. See 1077. In a version by Muslim, "I sent it to you only so that you would distribute it, even among the Fatimahs." Hafiz mentions in Fath al-Bari, quoting Ibn Qutayba, who said, "The Fatimahs referred to are Fatimah the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Fatimah bint Asad bin Hashim, the mother of Ali. I do not know who the third one is." See Muntaqa 700. Perhaps what is meant here by "his aunt" is Fatimah bint Asad bin Hashim bin Abd Manaf, since she was the daughter of his father's paternal uncle.
