A man asked him about the major ritual bath after sexual impurity, and he replied, "Three times."The man said, "I have a lot of hair."Abu Saeed said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had more hair than you, and finer."
حدثنا وكيع حدثني فضيل بن مرزوق عن عطية
سأله رجل عن الغسل من الجنابة فقال ثلاثا فقال إني كثير الشعر قال أبو سعيد كان رسول الله ﷺ أكثر شعرا منك وأطيب
Its chain of transmission is hasan, due to Awfi. A similar hadith is found in Bukhari 1/368 no. 526, Fath al-Bari, in the book of ghusl, chapter on one who pours water over his head three times, and in Muslim 1/259 no. 329, in the book of menstruation, chapter on the recommendation of pouring water, and in Ibn Majah 1/191 no. 576, with the same wording.
