Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The wealthy are ruined."They asked, "Except whom?"He said again, "The wealthy are ruined."They asked, "Except whom?"He said once more, "The wealthy are ruined," until we feared that it had become inevitable.Then he said, "Except for the one who gives like this, and like this, and like this, and they are few."
