The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you prays and forgets how many units he has prayed," or he said, "and does not know whether he has added or fallen short, let him perform two prostrations while seated. And when Satan comes to one of you and says, 'You have broken your ablution,' let him say, 'You lie,' unless he hears it with his ear or detects its smell with his nose."
حدثنا حسن بن موسى حدثنا شيبان عن يحيى حدثني عياض بن هلال الأنصاري قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا صلى أحدكم فنسي كم صلى أو قال فلم يدر زاد أم نقص فليسجد سجدتين وهو جالس وإذا جاء أحدكم الشيطان فقال إنك قد أحدثت فليقل كذبت إلا ما سمعه بأذنه أو وجد ريحه بأنفه
