We took captives on the day of Hunayn and began practicing withdrawal with them, intending to ransom them later. Some of us said to one another, "Are you doing this while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ is among us?"So I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it, and he said, "Not every drop of fluid produces a child. When Allah wills to create something, nothing can prevent it."
حدثنا عبد الرحمن عن سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن أبي الوداك
أصبنا سبيا يوم حنين فجعلنا نعزل عنهم ونحن نريد الفداء فقال بعضنا لبعض تفعلون ذلك وفيكم رسول الله ﷺ فسألت رسول الله ﷺ فقال ليس من كل الماء يكون الولد إذا أراد الله أن يخلق شيئا لم يمنعه شيء
