We used to be given mixed dates as our ration. Yazid said, dates from the mixed variety, during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. We would sell two saa for one saa. News of this reached the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Not two saa of dates for one saa, nor two saa of wheat for one saa, nor two dirhams for one dirham."Yazid said, "Not two saa of dates for one saa, nor two saa of wheat for one saa."

كنا نرزق تمر الجمع قال يزيد تمرا من تمر الجمع على عهد رسول الله ﷺ فنبيع الصاعين بالصاع فبلغ ذلك النبي ﷺ فقال لا صاعي تمر بصاع ولا صاعي حنطة بصاع ولا درهمين بدرهم قال يزيد لا صاعا تمر بصاع ولا صاعا حنطة بصاع
