Whenever the Prophet ﷺ followed a funeral procession, he would not sit down until the bier had been placed on the ground.
حدثنا وكيع عن شريك عن سهيل عن أبيه
كان النبي ﷺ إذا تبع جنازة لم يجلس حتى توضع
Its isnad is hasan, because of Sharik. Suhayl is Ibn Abu Salih, and the hadith previously appeared at 11267.
