The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "When a man purifies himself thoroughly, then comes to the Friday prayer and neither engages in idle talk nor behaves foolishly until the imam concludes, it serves as an expiation for whatever sins he committed between that Friday and the next. On Friday there is an hour during which no believing man asks Allah for anything without being granted it. And the obligatory prayers are an expiation for whatever sins occur between them."

عن نبي الله ﷺ قال إذا تطهر الرجل فأحسن الطهور ثم أتى الجمعة فلم يلغ ولم يجهل حتى ينصرف الإمام كانت كفارة لما بينها وبين الجمعة وفي الجمعة ساعة لا يوافقها رجل مؤمن يسأل الله شيئا إلا أعطاه إياه والمكتوبات كفارات لما بينهن
