The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you follow a funeral procession, do not sit down until the bier is placed on the ground."
حدثنا يحيى بن آدم حدثنا زهير عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا تبعتم جنازة فلا تجلسوا حتى توضع
